Jordan really dead? - The Young and the Restless

Have we seen the last of her?

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe she was still alive when the authorities go there and she was taken to a hospital.

Instead of Griffith spending his time on the golf course, or maybe visiting Japan, he should be paying more attention to his writing.

Or even better, retire and spend all his time playing golf or travelling, and give someone else, someone with new ideas who cares about what he produces, a chance to write and produce this show.

Great idea but I don’t see it happening. Griffith thinks that his writing and his ideas are fantastic. He’d see no reason to retire. After all, he did get the Emmy for writing which I don’t think that he deserved at all. :grimacing:

I don’t see it happening either. I get the feeling that JG’s opinion of his work is as unrealistic and overly complimentary as Claire’s fever dream opinion of the Newman family and her importance in it.

I doubt she’s dead. The character is generating a lot of buzz in social media so the writers aren’t going to let that go that easily.

She’s going to be like Sheila and keep popping up periodically like a bad rash to wreak havoc on the Newman’s.

Jordan’s character is like a cartoon villain. She is overly dramatic and not believable.

Yep. I keep expecting to see the words KAPOW, BAM, and WHAP plastered on the screen when I see her.

I feel like JG has theater aspirations. The over the top dramatics, the lighting, it all implies plays. He should really go that direction & leave soaps.

Maybe the next Jordan reveal is that Claire is not a Newman after all.

Yes, yes, he should go into theatre or actually, anywhere except this soap.

Someone in another thread was praising the lighting, in this episode. I think maybe the lighting was the best thing about it. At least the lights had no ridiculous dialogue to spew.

I agree, the lighting was the best part…of a disaster. It really did tell me that it’s theater to him. The way Jordan is over the top as well. It’s something I would see on a stage. He obviously doesn’t really respect the daytime serial genre.

The over-acting could maybe put down to a theatrical or silent film take on the scene but that dialogue would still be cringe-worthy in the theatre.
Maybe that dialogue would work in a silent film. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I think that his writing is better suited for a cartoon or for the silent movie era.

Interesting screen cap Spoilers show Jordan in an ambulance, sitting up and talking to one of the paramedics. She doesn’t look happy.

Plan B didn’t work, I guess.

I want her alive only because I want there to be at least one person onscreen who hates the Newmans and wants them to suffer as much as I do.

Sharon Champagne on Twitter says that picture is fake. I was hoping it was a real spoiler.
